How do I stop this from happening with my iPod touch Facebook app?

It constantly says I’m online , when I press offline and leave the app , then go back on it to just check news feed or something , it automatically signs me in and makes people think I’m online when I’m actually not there . How do I stop this?

Facebook chat on iPod touch not signing off?

Alright, so I have the newest iPod touch and I have the facebook app obviously. So I press “go offline” on the facebook chat and it will sign me off, or tease me to believe so.
When I open the facebook chat tab again, where I would normally have to press “go online”, it decides to already of been online
Is there a reason for this or has this happened to others? How am I to fix this?

How do I turn off Facebook chat on iPOD touch?

Ever since I recently updated to the new version of the Facebook app, my chat is ALWAYS on. I don’t like it. The old version gave you an option to take yourself offline. If I go onto my computer, I know how to take myself offline. BUT, as soon as I go onto my Facebook app on my itouch, I am automatically online again! There is no more offline button!!! Then I am getting all these messages that sometimes I just can’t get to right away. How do you make it stop? Is there a way to take yourself offline? Help!

i have ipod touch and ive installed the facebook app on my ipod touch/chat?

when i go to chat section and chat with someone then finish, and the person i was chatting with went offline, i still see his name highlighted but hes offline and i see everyone’s name ive chatted with..
now its becoming more and more.. the same person’s name is showing up like 3 times highlighted on the chat list and the same to all those people ive chatted with..
how do i remove those people from the chat list ??

Why does my Facebook keep saying I’m offline?

It’s an app on my iPod touch and when I go to chat it says you are offline but I button near it says go offline so I know I’m online. How to fix this?
